How Sitters on Deck Works
Registering with Sitters on Deck

To begin the process, each family fills out an application. This can be obtained by emailing us at sittersondeck@gmail.com, filling out the quick contact, or placing a simple call to 910-632-3419.
Once your application has been received, we will go over the following with you:
- Discuss your families specific needs
- Go over the Family Agreement
- Schedule any sitters needed
- Answer any questions you may have about Sitters on Deck

Requesting a Sitter
You may request a sitter by email sittersondeck@gmail.com, the quick contact or phone 910-632-3419.
When you request a sitter, we will send you potential sitter(s) profile(s) to review. Once you decide a sitter that will work best for you and your family, the sitter will be confirmed and she will give you a call to check-in, prior to babysitting. If you make a request early enough (at least a week in advance), you are more than welcome to schedule a meet-and-greet with the babysitter.
Our philosophy on requesting a sitter is, the earlier the better. Finding last minute sitters is always a little more difficult than if you were to request a sitter a week in advance. When you make a request, we can’t guarantee we will find someone who is available, but we make every effort to fill each request. You will only be billed for requests that are filled and confirmed. Requests sent in after 6pm will be processed as next day requests.
If you have requested a sitter from Sitters on Deck before and would like to use the same babysitter, just let us know and we will go to that sitter first. Of course, there is always the chance that sitter is not available, in which case we will find you quality substitutes.
Sitters on Deck can find you a babysitter for any occasion: a night out, needing an extra pair of hands, long term placements, summer placements, sick kids, overnight referrals, events (i.e. weddings, conferences), and much more.
